“ I would give a food rating of 5 stars. Hands down to the chef. We ordered 6 from the special menu. All of them are very good and seasoned perfectly. And to top it all, they serve unlimited steamed rice . We will surely be back again ... ”
“ This place is popular so expect some pretty high decibel noise and long wait for your food during peak hours. The space is compact but they make the most of it. Expansion would be a plus considering lots of customers go there already. All of the staff are always friendly, attentive, customer oriented and neat. I love how they have keen eyes on everything, especially when our water bottle gets empty, they immediately give us a new one without even asking for it. We don't even realize it is empty to begin with. The food is impeccable so the long wait makes it up for it. We always order the puff curry, it is a must! A wide range of food with pictures and specific descriptions in their menu makes it easy for us to decide on what to order. I love how they have a wide range of drinks to choose from. They have decorations that fit the season too. Their place is festive, vibrant and active. Tables are always ready for the next customer, they clean it soon as customers leave. I love how the table is already set up the minute you sit. You don't have to wait for the menu. ”
“ Kinn is definitely one of the best Thai restaurants in Wollongong overall — a beautiful setting with friendly service. However, the food experience was a bit mixed for me. The curry puffs didn’t really feel authentically Thai, and the chicken dish was a bit underwhelming. The fried rice was just average. Also, the portion difference between a “small” and a “big” meal was massive — we ended up way fuller than expected! Their homemade lemonade is basically just Solo, so nothing special there. One dish I really wouldn’t recommend is the seasonal beef — it was quite disappointing. On the bright side, the Pad Thai was absolutely amazing — hands down the best dish on the menu and definitely worth coming back for. Would still recommend it for the atmosphere and the Pad Thai, but a few dishes could use a bit more authenticity and consistency. ”
“ We had such a great meal here tonight. My husband is cealiac and it's always a mission trying to find good places to eat who can cater. Kinn Thai was able to cater with no difficulties at all. The food was AMAZING The staff were so lovely and the atmosphere was laid back. It was just what we needed for a random Monday dinner out. We will definitely come back. Only problem is that we are outside of the delivery area ”
